Every month we pick an MFitness member to give us feedback on their experiences with MFitness! Our last member profile from 2019 is Kayla Doherty!
Kayla Doherty joined us two years ago (then known as Kayla O' Donnell) and has become part of the furniture at MFitness!
Kayla is an outstanding member and scored the highest individual points (female category) in the recent MFitness games! The fact that Cross Training is her favourite class tells us that the harder and tougher the workout the more she enjoys it!

Goals When Joining?
To get fitter and tone up.

How did the trainers help with your goals?
By showing me how to do the exercises correctly so I could get the most out of them, making sure I was using the right weight and encouraging me in class when I was tired!

What do you most enjoy about being an MFitness member?
The classes are brilliant, no two are the same. They’re tough enough to challenge you so that you feel you’ve done a good workout when you leave, while also letting everyone work to their own fitness level. The craic is always good so the class flies by. And the Christmas parties are always a good laugh!

What exercises/ equipment do you enjoy?
Really enjoying the new cross training classes

What exercises do you least enjoy?
At the moment it’s the assault bikes!

If someone was thinking of joining the MFitness Gym what advice would you give them?
Just do it. Go in and chat to a trainer or send them a message on Facebook. If you know someone who already goes to classes then go to a class with them or get a friend who doesn’t and try out a class together. You won’t regret it.

Any suggestions on how MFitness could improve?
Honestly can’t think of anything especially since the new gym has opened.

Each month we will be asking an MFitness member to do a profile on their experiences since they became a member. This month we have gone with one of our most committed members.
Eva joined us 18 months ago as she continued her fitness journey and since then she has gone from strength to strength.
Initially Eva joined us to continue lose weight and start toning and getting fitter. Today Eva is one of our fittest members and her self motivation and drive help inspire other clients that if you start TODAY, you have no limits to what you can achieve!

Goals When Joining?
I had been losing weight and joined MFitness to continue doing so, while also toning and increasing my fitness levels at the same time.

How did the trainers help with your goals?
Firstly, they put me at ease as I was nervous about joining.
They showed me how to use the equipment and how to do the exercises properly. They also encouraged me to push myself, when needed.

What do you most enjoy about being an MFitness member?
I love that every class is different so I never get bored.
It's good fun too and I've met some great people.

What exercises/ equipment do you enjoy?
I enjoy circuit training.

What exercises do you least enjoy?
The assault bikes, it's no secret that I'm not their greatest fan.

If someone was thinking of joining the MFitness Gym what advice would you give them?
I'd suggest speaking to the trainers, go and see the gym and also try out a class.
Health and fitness wise it will be one of the best decisions they'll ever make.

Any suggestions on how MFitness could improve?
I honestly can't think of anything.
Previously I would have said more morning classes but with the new class timetable there is a huge choice of classes.

Natasha's fondness for Sean Paul Music and Jumping Jacks haven't gone unnoticed! When Natasha is in a class she helps encourage other members to push themselves, shes good craic and is also great for giving us feedback on how to improve. We are looking forward to this years Christmas party already!

Goals When Joining?
Lose Weight & Tone Up

How did the trainers help with your goals?
Showed me how to do the exercises properly. Encouraged me to push myself as hard as I could.

What do you most enjoy about being an MFitness member?
Each class is different! You never know what to expect. There's great banter in the classes! You always feel great, once they are over!! And the Christmas parties a good auld laugh too!!

What exercises/ equipment do you enjoy?
I like the mix of cardio and weights. I enjoy the challenge of pushing yourself in each class.

What exercises do you least enjoy?
Box Jumps!

If someone was thinking of joining the MFitness Gym what advice would you give them?
Do it!! You'll be shown how to do the exercises or use the equipment. Take it at your own pace and most of all.... Enjoy it!
